Join Our 2019 Volunteer & Work Share Team

Help us make our first year at the farm financially sustainable by supporting our all volunteer workshare crew!   It’s a weekly commitment.


ROLE TITLES Hours, Days Description
Harvesters Mon &/or Fri, 8 to 3pm (6 hours x 2) Harvest, wash, store, pack CSA boxes
Skills Needed – Fast paced, attention to detail/organization, work in all weather, lift 50 lbs,
Field Warriors Wed, 8 to 3pm (6 hours) transplanting, weeding, bed preparation
Skills Needed – Fast paced, grueling, stamina, bending, work in all weather, strong arms
AARW/ Dorchester Drop Off Coordinator Tuesday, 3 – 7PM Hang out at the AARW office, meet and greet CSA members, make sure every get’s their share, compost, re-gift, or take home any unclaimed produce 
Skills Needed – use of cell phone to text or call members
Farmsteader Saturday 9 to 1 Water greenhouse, dog and cat sit, random projects
Skills Needed – working independently, dogs and cats, and taking on a wide variety of random tasks
Cambridge Connector Tuesday, 1 to 3pm Pick up shares in Dorchester and deliver them to Cambridge
Skills needed – Driver with care, can carry boxes, adapt at communication


Free weekly produce
Access to bulk produce (when available) for canning, drying, food processing, or sharing
